12 Gauge Anti Drone Rounds

OrbitWorks introduces an innovative solution for neutralizing unauthorized or hostile UAVs without destroying them: the 12 Gauge Anti-Drone Rounds. These rounds are meticulously engineered to disable drones effectively while allowing for data retrieval, payload recovery, and potential UAV reuse.

Key Features:

- Unique Design: Each round fires six small lead weights connected by three 1-meter long Kevlar threads. The threads are tied together at the center to form a net, ensuring a high probability of entangling the drone's rotors or wings upon impact.

- Controlled Propulsion: Utilizing a low-power charge, these rounds are propelled at a velocity of 500-520 feet per second (FPS). This speed is slower than traditional slug or bird/buck shot rounds, offering a safer and more controlled deployment.

- Non-Destructive: Unlike conventional anti-drone methods that destroy the UAV, these rounds are designed to incapacitate drones without causing significant damage. This approach allows for the recovery of valuable data, payloads, and potentially the drone itself for future use or analysis.

- Safety Considerations: The reduced velocity of the rounds, while still effective against drones, makes them much less likely to be lethal in the event of accidental contact with humans. While still harmful, the lower speed significantly reduces the risk of fatal injuries.

Application:

- Security and Defense: Ideal for military and law enforcement agencies requiring a reliable method to neutralize unauthorized UAVs in restricted airspace or during operations without compromising intelligence gathering or operational integrity.

Advantages:

- Versatile Deployment: Compatible with standard 12-gauge shotguns, providing flexibility and ease of use for various operators.

- Reusable UAVs: By not destroying the drones, users can potentially repurpose captured UAVs, maximizing resource efficiency.

- Enhanced Safety: The design prioritizes the safety of both operators and bystanders, mitigating the risk of severe injury from accidental hits.

OrbitWorks' 12 Gauge Anti-Drone Rounds represent a cutting-edge solution in UAV countermeasures, balancing effectiveness with safety and sustainability. Explore how this innovative technology can enhance your aerial security strategies today.
